Six thousand user accounts have been created with 72 banks and financial institutions. Data entry of 22 thousand 200 mortgaged properties has been done in it. About 21 thousand cases have already been entered in the case management system. All data entry will be done in both systems very soon and it is an ongoing process.
Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Kazi Chaidur Rahman said that there is a revolutionary change in the land system. As a result of the mortgage data bank, important decisions of the bank can be taken quickly.
Senior officers of the Ministry of Lands and its affiliated agencies and financial institutions and managing directors of commercial banks and financial institutions of Bangladesh and their representatives were present on the occasion.
