India’s ‘national crush’ Rashmika opened up about her character in the film Pushpa 2. The film Pushpa: Rise was released in 2021. Directed by Sukumar, Allu Arjun and Rashmika’s pairing was loved by everyone. But to the regret of Rashmika’s fans, the screen presence of their favorite actress was very low in this film. Rashmika recently said in an interview that she will pay for it in Pushpa 2.
Rashmika spoke openly about coming back to the silver screen as Pushpa Raj’s wife, ‘Srivalli’. In this context, the actress said, “During Pushpa One, I did not know anything about my character, “Srivalli.” I didn’t know about the story of the film. As an artist, I knew nothing. I had no idea how to match the character of “Srivalli” on screen. I didn’t even know what world I was about to inhabit. To be honest, I didn’t know anything. And so every day on the set, I felt as if I were in the playground.
Talking about her role in Pushpa, Rashmika said, “I loved the simplicity and spontaneity of ‘Srivalli’. So I found the character quite amusing. Besides this, the character was challenging.
Talking about ‘Srivalli’ in Pushpa: The Rule, Rashmika said, ‘I know a lot about my character now. And now I know a lot about the world that I live in. But I can’t reveal much about my character right now. Pushpa Tour “Srivalli” himself is very transparent about what he wants. And he is much more careful and mature.
