Joypurhat Correspondent: A lover and lover died of poisoning in the fields of Joypurhat. Both of them are residents of Khandita village in the upazila. A day after the death of the lover while undergoing treatment, the lover also died on Monday night. It is said that this happened because the family did not accept their relationship.
It is known that on April 4, the two lovers tried to commit suicide by drinking poison in their own house. Later, they were rescued and taken to the hospital. 3 days after the incident, on Monday (April 8), her lover Tazmin Akhter (15) died while undergoing treatment at Bogra Hospital.
A day before this, my boyfriend Murad (17) died while undergoing treatment at Joypurhat General Hospital. The boyfriend Murad Sheikh is the son of Dolan Sheikh of Khandita village in the upazila, and the girlfriend Tazmin (15) is the daughter of Tojam of the same village. Murad took the SSC exam from Baratara High School this year and was a class nine student at Bankila High School in Tazmin Upazila.
According to police and local sources, Murad had a love relationship with Tazmin Akhtar of the same village. But their family did not accept the relationship. The family decides to send the lover, Murad, to Malaysia. He was supposed to go out of the country after Eid. Then the two decided to drink poison at their respective homes on April 4. They were rescued and admitted to Joypurhat General Hospital. After two days of treatment there, he recovered and returned home.
On April 7 at 11:30 pm, Murad, his lover, fell ill again and was taken to Joypurhat General Hospital. He died early in the morning while undergoing treatment there. The news of the death of her lover, Tazmin, also made her fall ill again. After taking him to Bogra Shajimek Hospital, he died in the night while undergoing treatment.
Anwar Hossain, OC of Kshetlal police station, said that the lover had poisoned himself due to the love affair. Lover Murad is dead. The girl also fell ill on this news. He also died later in the hospital. An autopsy was conducted on the body of Murad in this incident. He was buried after the funeral on Monday afternoon. And the body of the girl is in Bogra. Legal action is pending.
