Dhaka Bureau: RAB said that there is no information about vandalism or violence on the train on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director of the legal and media wing of the agency, said that in coordination with various intelligence agencies and with everyone else who is working, we do not have information of any kind of sabotage or violence.
He said this to reporters at Kamalapur railway station at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 8.
Khandaker Al Moin said that some measures have been taken to ensure the safety of passengers. Station-wise security arrangements have been made. Detectives in white are here. A large number of RAB members are deployed at various stations.
He said we are also monitoring Cyber World Day; we are not sitting. We are ready to face any situation to ensure the safe journey of passengers.
He said about the safety of empty houses during Eid that many people in Dhaka go home due to the pulse of Eid. As a law and order force, the responsibility for the security of that empty Dhaka must be on us. The number of our motorcycle patrols has greatly increased to ensure safety. Besides, we maintain contact with those who are public representatives so that we get information immediately if any untoward incident happens somewhere.
