Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has unveiled commemorative postage stamps on the occasion of Great Independence and National Day. He unveiled the commemorative postage stamp at a function at his official residence, Ganabhaban, on Tuesday (March 26) morning.
On the occasion, he unveiled a commemorative postage stamp worth Tk 10, an opening envelope worth Tk 10, and a data card worth Tk 5. A special seal is also used.
The Philatelic Bureau of Dhaka GPO will start selling stamps, fast-day covers, and data cards tomorrow, Wednesday. These will later be available at other GPOs and head post offices across the country.
