Sherpur Correspondent: Shaheed Ullah Talukder Mukul aka Mukul Talukder of Bangladesh film Khal actor Khairun Sundari is no more. He died early on Sunday (November 20) at his bus building in Nalitabari town of Sherpur.
According to family sources, Shaheed Ullah Talukdar Mukul returned home after his morning walk on Sunday morning like every day. There were no people in the house at that time. After some time, a tenant of the house found Mukul Talukdar lying unconscious on the floor through the open door. On hearing the news, people came and confirmed his death.
He is believed to have died of cardiac arrest. He is survived by his wife, son Navy officer Nafis, one daughter Sara, younger sister Superintendent of Police Fahita Yasmin Dolly, younger brother LGRD officer Mustafizur Rahman Bakul and many other well-wishers.
Mukul Talukdar made his film debut with the movie Khairun Sundari. After that he acted as a villain in about 20 films. He was also the UP Chairman for two consecutive times in Kakarkandi Union of Upazila. Former Joint General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Mukul Talukdar has also taught in Jhenaigati Adarsh Degree College. The one-time footballer was involved in various arenas in this star area. His death has cast a shadow of mourning in various circles including sports, culture and political arenas.
