Samantha’s item song topped the list of the top 100 music videos in the world. Then people aged 8–80 also danced to this song. After a long time, Samantha herself explained the reason for dancing in the item song.
In an interview with India Today, Samantha said, “I wanted to try something new. Basically, I performed the song ‘O Antava, O O Antava’ from this idea. I have never been confident in my attractive looks. I always thought I was not beautiful and confident. It was very challenging for me. I have no idea of sexual appeal.
Thinking about its popularity, the director is making the second part of this movie. In the item song of the second part, Samantha was offered to swing her waist. But this actress returned it. Explaining the reason, the actress said, ‘When I was offered to perform in an item song again, I said no. Because performing in item songs is not a challenge for me now. The way I have grown as an actor is to put myself in difficult situations and fight to overcome them.’
Samantha danced to the song ‘O Antava, O O Antava’. Her appealing look is especially eye-catching. However, in reference to the lyrics of this song, Samantha said, “O Antava, O O Antava” was not about women’s sexual behavior. I was already sure of that.”
