Sports Reporter: The two-day Badminton and Table Tennis Competition 2024 for school girls organized by Chittagong District Women’s Sports Association has ended. AJM Nasir Uddin was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the competition held at Rifle Club Gymnasium in the city on Monday (March 11) afternoon.
The organization’s member Saheda Begum gave a welcome speech at the event.

Co-president of the organization Rekha Alam Chowdhury, Anjuman Ara Begum, Sajeda Nasreen were present as members Ajanta Barua, Meher Nigar, Jayashree Sen, and Gulshan Ara and CJKS Councilor Haroon Or Rashid were present.
About 130 students from 15 educational institutions of Chittagong are participating in this competition.
The Badminton singles champion of the competition was Fariha Fairuz Zaman, a student of Chittagong Government Girls High School, and Rihma Ferdous, a student of Fulki Sahaj Path, the runner-up. Chittagong Government Girls High School became the champion and Cantonment English School became the runner-up in badminton doubles.
Turnamani champion of Kusum Kumari City Corporation Girls School and Sabikun Nahar of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani School bagged the runner-up honors in the table tennis category.
