Tangail Correspondent: Bangladesh Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed said that the development of the country and the respect it has gained from the world would not have been possible if Bangladesh was not independent.

The army chief said that the members of the Army Medical Corps and Dental Corps of the Armed Forces Nursing Service must be ready at all times to face the challenges of the 21st century through modern and up-to-date training. At this time, he recalled the glorious tradition of the Army Medical Corps and Dental Corps and the contribution of these corps in the service of the country.
Later, the Army Chief laid wreaths at the ‘Bij Chetna’ monument at the Army Medical Corps Center and School in memory of the martyrs and attended the annual Army Medical Corps Commanders’ Conference. Senior army officers were present on the occasion.
