Dhaka Bureau: The National Rabindra Sangeet Conference, the country’s biggest event on Rabindra Sangeet, is starting on Friday (March 8). This time, the opening session will be protesting the Israeli attack on Gaza and their barbaric genocide and singing the victory song of humanity. Apart from this, there will be more diverse events at this year’s festival.
On Friday (March 8), the program will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the performance of Kabiguru’s song ‘Nishidin Bharasa Rakhis, Ore Mon, Hobei Hobe’ as Bodhan Sangeet.
Theater personality Ramendu Majumder will inaugurate this three-day conference at the National Theater of Shilpakala Academy. Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan will be the chief guest in the closing session.
On Wednesday, March 6, at a press conference of the Sammilan Parishad at the Rameshchandra Dutt Memorial Auditorium of Chayanaut Culture Bhavan, the details of this event were presented.
