Dhaka Bureau: The police filed a case as plaintiff in the incident of a fire at Green Cozy Cottage on Bailey Road in the capital on Friday night. According to police-connected sources, the accused have been charged with negligent homicide in the case filed in connection with the Bailey Road fire.
DMP’s Ramna Zone Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Salman Farsi confirmed the case on Saturday (March 2). He said that a case has been registered in connection with the Bailey Road fire. The police filed the case as the plaintiff. So far, some people have been detained in this incident. They will be arrested and sent to court.
It should be noted that 46 people died in a fire at the Green Cozy Cottage building on Bailey Road last Thursday night. Police said 20 men, 18 women, and 8 children were killed.
