Staff Reporter: A general meeting of Bangladesh Editors Forum was held today Saturday (November 19) at 12 noon in the conference room of Daily Present Times newspaper office. Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, the founding president of the organization and the editor of Daily Us Bangla, presided over the event.
The program was conducted by the editor-in-chief of Daily Present Times and general secretary of the organization, Md. Omar Farooq Jalal.
Editors of many important dailies, weekly newspapers and electronics media of the country were present on the occasion.

At the beginning of the meeting, a minute’s silence was observed for the late editor of daily information inquiry and weekly assignment newspaper Jai Mahmud and the program was started by praying for the forgiveness of his soul. Finally, he thanked all the editors and guests present for the important discussion and announced the end of the general meeting.
