Nagar Reporter: 64 pieces of special gold bars were seized from one seat of Oman Air flight WY 313 at Shah Amanat International Airport. The flight landed at the airport around 9:30 p.m. on Friday (February 16).
Shah Amanat International Airport Director Group Captain Taslim Ahmed confirmed the matter and told the media that the customs and customs intelligence officers working at the airport have seized 64 pieces of gold bars from inside the airport after conducting a search based on secret information.
Alamin Pradhan, the customs intelligence officer who led the operation, said that we did not find gold in the D seat of flight 25. Later, I found 64 gold bars specially hidden in the reclining part of the 35-F seat. The weight of recovered gold is about 7.5 kg, the market value of which is approximately Tk 6 crore. Legal action is being taken in this regard.
