Dhaka-Chittagong Highway will be closed for two days and two and a half hours

City Reporter: The Directorate of Roads and Public Ways (SOAZ) has decided to close the Dhaka-Chittagong highway for 5 hours. Authorities have decided to close the road for 5 hours for construction work and shifting of gantry at Pakka road head area in Salimpur Union of Sitakunda part of Chittagong highway.

The road will be closed for a total of two and a half hours on Tuesday and Wednesday (February 13 and 14) from 5 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. every day.

In this regard, Chittagong District Road Division Executive Engineer Pintu Chakma told the media that the Dhaka-Chittagong highway will be closed to avoid any kind of accident during the under-construction U-turn work and gantry transfer. A letter has already been sent to the concerned departments in this regard. We apologize to the public and passengers for this temporary inconvenience.
