Gazipur Correspondent: The World Ijtema organized by Tabligh Jamaat on the banks of the Turag River in Tongir is ending today, Sunday, with Akhiri Monajat. Yesterday, on Saturday, the top leaders of Ijtema delivered an important speech on Tabligh in the call of faith and religion to the devout Muslims gathered at the Ijtema Maidan.
Earlier, the Ijtema Maidan of Tongir was filled to the brim with the presence of worshipers since Friday. Today, pilgrims from different places are rushing to the Ijtema Maidan to participate in the last prayer. Millions of Muslims are passing the time in Zikir Askar and Ibadat Bandegi from Fajr on Friday. This trend continued on Saturday. They are appealing to the Most Merciful to strengthen their faith and stay on the path of religion in order to gain the pleasure of Almighty Allah.
This Sunday will conclude with the much-anticipated Akhira prayer anytime between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.The second phase of Tabligh Jamaat’s Biswa Ijtema will be conducted from a stage specially set up on the east side of the foreign residence.
Mohammad Sayem, media coordinator of the second phase, said that Maulana Saad’s eldest son, Yusuf Bin Sat Kandhaliev of Delhi, will conduct the last prayer of special significance. In the final prayer, the prayers of Almighty Allah will be sought for forgiveness of sins and self-purification.
