Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Four people were killed in a collision between a bus and a covered van at Chakria in Cox’s Bazar. Five more people were injured in this incident.
The accident took place on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway in the Harbang area of the upazila on Thursday (February 8) around 10:30 a.m. The names of the victims were not immediately available.
The officer-in-charge (OC) of Chakaria Police Station, Sheikh Mohammad Ali, said the injured have been rescued and sent to the hospital. Two cars involved in the accident have been impounded.
