An accident on Tunnel Road killed 1, injured 2,

Anwara Correspondent: A young man named Anwar Parvez (43) was killed in a road accident at Bangabandhu Tunnel in Anwara. Two more people, named Mohammad Bashar and Mohammad Azim, were injured in this incident.

The accident took place on Tuesday (January 30) at 6:30 a.m. in the Mohammadpur area of Anwara province on the tunnel road when a reckless truck hit it from behind.

Assistant Engineer (Toll and Traffic) Tanveer Rifa confirmed the matter.

According to eyewitnesses, in the morning, three security personnel working in KEPZ were on their way to work when a reckless speeding truck from Anwara province hit them from behind in the Mohammadpur area of Bangabandhu Tunnel Road.

Anwar Parvez died on the spot. Two more security personnel, named Mohammad Bashar and Mohammad Azim, were injured.

The injured were rescued and taken to Anwara Health Complex from there. Bashar was sent to Chamek Hospital for advanced treatment.

Deceased Anwar Farvez is the second son of the deceased Mohammad Chaiyed of Mahata village in Parikora Union of Upazila. He is working as a security guard in the Korean EPZ.

The brother of the deceased, Anwar Chadek, said that among the family’s four brothers and two sisters, the deceased Parvez II, besides his wife, has two sons and a daughter.

Regarding the accident, Anwara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sohail Ahmed said that the police went to the spot after receiving information about the accident. One of them is dead. The body was brought to the police station. The next legal action is taking place.
