According to sources close to the actor, he fell ill while shooting in Nepal. He went to the hospital for a routine check-up due to a cold after returning from Nepal. Then the doctor advised him to be admitted to the hospital. Since then, he has been undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Zahid Hasan is being cared for in the hospital by his wife, actress Sadia Islam Mou, and two children.
