Noakhali Correspondent: The strangled body of a housewife named Tamanna Islam Pinu (16) was lying on the bed in a house in the Noakhali town area. Tamannaah’s husband’s (22) body was hanging on the fan next to it.
On Monday (January 29) around 10 a.m., the police recovered two dead bodies from a room on the second floor of a house in Bashundhara Colony near Burlington Junction in the district town of Maizdi.
Police Superintendent of Noakhali. Asaduzzaman confirmed this. The deceased are Mehedi Hasan Shubo, son of Dulal Mia of Dadpur Union of Sadar Upazila, and Tamanna Islam Pinu, daughter of Liton of the Municipal Area. Apart from being husband and wife, they were also cousins.
According to local sources, Shubo and Tamanna got married a year ago due to mutual acquaintance and love due to being cousins. Since then, they have lived at Tamannad’s house in Bashundhara Colony, Maijdi. Tamanna’s mother and brother lived in the same house. Tamanna’s brother, Hossain Ahmed Noman, called National Emergency Service 999 after getting no response from Shubo and Tamanna from their room on Monday morning. After receiving the information, the Sudharam Model Police Station recovered the bodies of both of them.
