Dhaka Bureau: State Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury, MP, said that everyone should work together to reduce the cost of immigration.
The State Minister said that vigilance will be increased so that middlemen cannot infiltrate the safe, orderly, and regular immigration process. He also said that the cost of migration increases due to the intervention of two to three levels of middlemen. He also urged everyone to search for new labor markets and create skilled workers according to labor market demand.
He said all this in an exchange meeting of the representatives of the Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (BAIRA) in the meeting room of the Ministry this morning. It was presided over by the Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment. Ruhul Amin.
Secretary Md. Ruhul Amin said in the discussion meeting that our goal is safe, regular, and responsible immigration. In this regard, everyone should work with transparency and accountability. He also said that the responsible role of all stakeholders in the overall protection of expatriate workers is very important.
