Dhaka Bureau: Minister of State for Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury MP, along with Libyan Ambassador to Bangladesh H.E. A courtesy meeting was held by Abdulmutalib S. M. Suliman.
This courtesy meeting of the Ambassador of Libya was held with the Minister of State for Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment at 11 o’clock today on Monday. At this time, Secretary of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Ministry, Md. Ruhul Amin, was present.
At the beginning of the meeting, the ambassador of Libya congratulated the new government and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on behalf of the government of that country, wished the current government well, and mentioned that the brotherly relations between the two countries will continue.
In the meeting, both sides discussed brotherly harmony between the two countries, orderly and responsible migration, prevention of human trafficking, discouraging irregular migration, and sending Bangladeshi workers to the Libyan labor market. Additional Secretary of the Ministry, Md. Khairul Alam, Joint Secretary, Md. Abu Raihan Mia, Md. Sajjad Hossain Bhuya, and other officials were present at this time.
