City reporter: Saira Tasmin and Shahidul Alam are both physically challenged. Shahidul Alam passed the HSC examination in 2015. He currently works as a computer operator in a store. And Saira Tasmin Hajera is studying BA in her 3rd year at Tzu Degree College.
They came to meet Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel at the Chashma Hill residence at 10 a.m. on Saturday. At that time, poor Saira and Shahidul brought up their problems to the minister. The minister listens to them and inquires about studies and family matters.
At this time, the Education Minister urged them to learn computers and said that, under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, besides creating employment for the disabled, they will be turned into assets by utilizing their talent.
Later, the Education Minister assured these two disabled persons of all cooperation. Volunteer League leader Tosaddek Noor Chowdhury instructed Tapu to regularly inquire about their family and look after all the affairs of the two.
