Vice-Chancellor CU will give the bill for the advertisement greeting the ministers

CU Representative: The Vice-Chancellor of Chittagong University (CU) published an advertisement in the newspaper congratulating the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Education for getting the ministry from Chittagong. Shireen Akhtar He will pay the advertisement bill from the private sector. This information was informed in a circular signed by the acting registrar of CU KM Noor Ahmad on Friday, January 19.

According to the notification, Sheikh Hasina was elected by direct vote of the people of the country through free, fair, and impartial elections in the 12th national parliament election on January 7. He has assumed the responsibility of the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for the fifth time. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to continue development and progress in the construction of ‘Smart Bangladesh’ in the cabinet of the newly formed government. Hasan Mahmud was appointed MP as Foreign Minister and Barrister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury MP as Education Minister.

The Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) has written a letter to the registrar of CU seeking to know from which sector the expenses related to these advertisements will be spent.

The statement of the university administration in this regard is that CU has no financial connection with the related expenses. Concerned persons are requested not to be misled by any misinformation regarding the said matter.

When asked, the acting registrar of CU, KM Noor Ahmad, said, “As we have said, the university has no involvement with this expenditure. Then it will be spent in the private sector.

Earlier, the Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) wrote a letter to the CHBI registrar on January 17 asking to know from which sector the advertisement expenditure will be spent after the two ministers were greeted and congratulated.
