Magura Correspondent: Drizzling rains lashed Magura on Thursday (January 18) amid bitter cold and thick fog. Along with the cold wind from the north, the severity of the winter has increased. Low-income people are in trouble.
According to the Meteorological Office, the sun has not been seen in Magura for the past four days. Fog falls like rain from evening until noon. The minimum temperature recorded in the district today was 12 degrees Celsius.

District Kashi Extension Department Deputy Director Sufi Md. Rafikuzzaman said that potatoes and mustard can be affected by late blight due to excessive fog. However, boro rice and onions will benefit from rain.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abu Naser Baig said that the administration is distributing winter clothes by listing the cold people. The Relief and Disaster Management Department has been instructed to take the necessary measures.
