Dhaka Bureau: Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmood is going to India on February 7 on a three-day visit. This is his first bilateral visit to India after taking charge as Foreign Minister. It is said that the two leaders will discuss issues related to the interests of their respective countries during the visit at the invitation of Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.
Various issues, including Bangladesh-India connectivity, border crossings, trade expansion, trade expansion related to the Indian rupee, and Bangladeshi rupee exchange, may take place in the discussion.
It should be noted that on January 15 (Monday) in Dhaka, Indian High Commissioner Prannoy Verma had a courtesy meeting with the Foreign Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Hasan Mahmood was invited to visit Delhi by Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar.
