Sukanth Bikash Dhar, Satkania: Newly elected Member of Parliament of Chittagong-15 (Satkania-Lohagara) Constituency MA Motaleb CIP said, once in my parliamentary area, the public did not have the opportunity to know how much was the government allocation of MP. In order to bring transparency and accountability to all my activities, the amount of government allocation for MP will be made available in the future. I don’t understand the elder brother and the younger brother. I want to remove all kinds of misdeeds. After being elected MP yesterday (Tuesday) morning, he said these things in the monthly law-order and general meeting organized at the Parishad Auditorium on the initiative of the Satkania Upazila administration for the first time as chief advisor.
MP Motaleb said, “I have announced a program of 100 days.” All past actions were messy. I obey the rules. I don’t throw mud. There is no need for criticism or revenge. I want to make Satkania-Lohagara a smart upazila by fulfilling the promise made to the people in my election manifesto using the instructions of the honorable Prime Minister.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Satkania police station, Priton Sarkar, said if freedom of work is given, drugs, juvenile gangs, evictions, and robberies will be eradicated from Satkania. I have had experience in these jobs in the past. Remember, Satkania Police Station is not a place of fear but a place of service for common people.
Upazila Acting Chairman Anjuman Ara and Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Milton Biswas presided over the general meeting. Qutubuddin Chowdhury, upazila health and family planning officer AKM Abdullah Al Mamun, upazila engineer Parvez Sarwar Hossain, and Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad upazila president Ed. Pradeep Kumar Chowdhury were among the chairmen. Abu Saleh, Md.
