Khagrachari Correspondent: The Forest Department seized two moon trucks while illegally transporting firewood in Khagrachari.
On Saturday afternoon, raids were conducted on the Khagrachari-Dighinala road, and the wooden vehicles were seized.
Khagrachari Sadar Range Officer SM Mosharf Hossain said two Jeeps were seized for transporting wood without valid documents. The seized vehicle has been brought to the forest office. Forest case filing is under process.
The Divisional Officer of Khagrachari Forest Division, Md. Farid Mia, said, “We seized two vehicles while transporting firewood to brick kilns.” We will continue such operations in the future.
