Entertainment desk: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s only daughter, Ira Khan, is tied to marriage. Her marriage ceremony with fitness coach Nupur Shekhar took place at a seven-star hotel in Mumbai on Wednesday (January 3) evening.
According to The Wall, Nupur Shekhar appeared in Sando genji and shorts instead of the groom’s dress at the wedding ceremony. Her clothes surprised everyone. Later, Nupur himself revealed the secret. He said that his dream as a fitness trainer was to get married not in a wedding dress but in jogging clothes. So he appeared on the wedding stage after jogging for 8 km.
Ira appeared in a traditional bridal dress, while the groom, Sando Genji, appeared later. She was wearing a lehenga. Father Aamir Khan wore a white sherwani and a pink turban. Aamir was accompanied by his two ex-wives, Reena Dutt and Kiran Rao. Both were wearing saris. Reena was wearing a green saree. Kiran wore a light purple saree.
Nupur was Aamir Khan’s gym trainer. In 2020, he got into a relationship with Ira. Then they got engaged last year in the presence of family. Nupur and Ira finally got married yesterday, on January 3, after dating for almost four years.
It is reported that the main wedding ceremony in Ira-Nuppur will be held on January 8 in Udaipur. The wedding ceremony will continue there for three consecutive days. Finally, there will be a grand reception party in Mumbai on January 12.
