National Parliament election, 3 days St. Martin’s Island, tourist traffic is prohibited

Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: The Cox’s Bazar district administration has banned tourists from St. Martin for three days due to the 12th National Assembly elections. At the same time, all hotel-motel guest houses on the island will be closed.

Cox’s Bazar Additional District Magistrate Yamin Hossain confirmed this information on Saturday (December 30).

In this regard, he said that on January 6, 7, and 8, all ships will be closed on the Teknaf-Saint Martin route. Apart from this, all hotel-motel guest houses on St. Martin Island will also be closed.

This official of the district administration said that since the movement of outsiders will be closed during the election period, all the hotel-motel guest houses in Cox’s Bazar will also be closed from 12:00 PM on January 6 to 12:00 PM on January 7.
