Nagar Reporter: Under the leadership of citizens of Boalkhali living in different areas of Chittagong city, including Khulshi, O R Nizam, and Nasirabad Housing, a discussion meeting was held at Shakpura Union of Boalkhali on Wednesday in support of Kettle Marker of CDA former chairman Abduch Chalam.
Under the chairmanship of Khulshi Club President Shamsul Alam, independent member of parliament candidate Abduch Chalam of the kettle symbol was the chief guest.
Sirajuddaulla, former general secretary of Khulshi Club, Humayun Kabir, a Rotarian, were present as special guests. Shahidullah, Engineer Md. Shamsuddin, Anisul Alam, Zakir Hossain, Md. Ibrahim, Md. Arju Khan, Md. Rafiqul Islam, Engineer Ali, Md. Monir Uddin, Mizanur Rahman, Feroz Ahmad, Nurul Abshar, Chalah Ahmad, Md. Kaiser Chowdhury, Haque Matin, Md. Nasir Uddin, Farid Uddin Chowdhury, Anis Ul Alam, Zahirul Haque, and others. Abduch Chalam said in the discussion meeting, “I want to spend the rest of my life in the happiness of the people of Boalkhali, Mohra, Chandgaon, and Panchlaish.” I have no personal requests.
I want to contribute to the overall development of the people in the Chittagong 8 constituencies. If I am elected as a member of Parliament in the future, I will implement the long-standing demand of the people of Boalkhali for the construction of the new Kalurghat bridge at any cost. We have completed the implementation of the program with the sincere cooperation of the Prime Minister for the development of Chittagong. If elected, that continuity will continue for the citizens of the Chittagong 8 constituencies.
