On Sunday (December 24) around 11:30 a.m., he appeared in court at the Sheikh Marina Sultana court along with his lawyer.
Earlier, on December 21, the economist Dr. Arguments on the legal aspects of the case were presented on behalf of four persons, including Muhammad Yunus. Dr. Yunus’ lawyer, Barrister Abdullah Al Mamun, presented arguments on the legal aspects of the case. Today is fixed for the next hearing as arguments were not completed on that day.
Last December 6 in this case until December 23 Dr. The court exempted Yunus from personal appearance in the labor court. That day Dr. Muhammad Yunus appeared in the Labor Court for the seventh time.
On September 9, 2021, in the Third Labor Court of Dhaka, Arifuzzaman, the labor inspector of the Directorate of Factories and Institutions, became the plaintiff. Filed this case against four people including Yunus. In the case, allegations were made under Section 4 of 7, 8, 117 and 234 of the Labor Act for non-deposit of specific dividends to the Labor Welfare Foundation, non-permanent employment of workers, non-encashment of public holidays.
