10 antibiotics have lost their effectiveness against six deadly bacteria

Dhaka Bureau: 10 first- and second-line antibiotics have lost 90% effectiveness against the six most deadly bacteria. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University research has found this information.

Of these, amoxacillin and ciprofloxacin do not work in 97% of cases. Even stronger drugs, such as cefixime and ceftriaxone, work in only 10% of patients.
