Dhaka Bureau: In recognition of bravery and heroic contribution, 45 fire fighters have been given national medals in four categories. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal presented the medal at the opening ceremony organized on the occasion of Fire Week at 10 am on Tuesday (November 15) at the parade ground of Fire Service Training Complex located in Mirpur of the capital.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina participated virtually as the chief guest in the event. The secretary of security service department of the Ministry of Home Affairs was present as a special guest. Abdullah Al Masood Chowdhury.
Director General of Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate Brigadier General Md presided over the event. Mine Uddin Inauguration ceremony of fire service week was held at 11 am in all divisions and districts including Dhaka centrally.
