Dhaka Bureau: The meeting of the leaders of the 14-party alliance with the Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will be held on Monday (December 4). The meeting will be held at Ganobhaban at 6 p.m.
The meeting of the 14 parties is very important in view of the 12th National Assembly elections to be held on January 7. It is said that important issues such as alliance elections and seat compromises will be discussed.
It has already come to the fore whether or not the Awami League will agree on seats with its 14-party allies in the upcoming elections. Some doubts have arisen among the allies of the 14 parties on this matter. This meeting is going to be held in that context.
When asked about this meeting of 14 parties, Rashed Khan Menon said that the meeting of 14 parties will be held on December 4 at 6 p.m. That’s all I know; I can’t say more.
Hasanul Haque Inu, another leader of the 14 parties, said that the issue of alliances will dominate the discussion. The issue of seat sharing may be discussed later.
