Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Tourist Police and Sea Life Guard recovered two dead bodies from Cox’s Bazar beach.
They recovered two bodies after they washed up on the beach at Labani Point in tidal water at around 11 a.m. on Sunday (December 3).
Additional DIG of Tourist Police Cox’s Bazar Region, Apple Ahmed, confirmed the matter. The identity of the two bodies is not yet known.
Additional DIG Apple Mahmud said that the bodies of a man and a woman were recovered from the Labani beach around 11 a.m. on Sunday. Their age will be around 30 years old. Two dead bodies were recovered from the spot and sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. Their identity has not been known until now.
Imtiaz Ahmed, in charge of lifeguarding, said that, seeing the bodies of two people floating on the beach, our duty team members rescued them and informed the tourist police. They can be tourists. But I am not completely sure.
