Noakhali Correspondent: In Companyganj, allegations of rape have been made by calling the lover in turn. The police arrested two people, including the lover, in this incident. They gave a confessional statement in court on Friday (December 1) evening.
The arrested are Mosharraf Hossain Sohag (25) son of Kamal Uddin of Ward No. 4 of Charkankra Union of Companyganj Upazila, and Alauddin alias Sumon (22) son of Shahab Uddin of Char Alauddin of Subarnachar Upazila.
Inspector Abdus Sultan of Companyganj Police Station said that the victim is a trainee nurse. On his way to work, he met Alauddin Suman, a worker at a poultry farm near the house. At some point, a love relationship develops between them.
He said that on Thursday night, Suman called the young woman to the farm. At some point, they get physical. Meanwhile, another worker on the farm, Mosharf Hossain Sohag, saw the incident and threatened to tell the people. Later, Sohag raped the girl with the help of Suman. In this incident, the victim filed a case of rape as a plaintiff on Friday.
He also said that the two accused in the case were arrested by the police immediately after the incident. They gave a confessional statement in court on Friday afternoon. Later, they were sent to jail. The victim girl has been sent to Noakhali General Hospital for a medical examination.
