Dhaka Bureau: The results of this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations will be published today, Sunday. The Head of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, informed us of this information.
Minister of Education at 2 p.m. Dipu Moni will present the details of the results in a press conference. The press conference will be held at the International Mother Language Institute. Earlier in the morning, the chairmen of the education boards will hand over the summary of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban.
The results will be published simultaneously on the websites of educational institutions and education boards around the same time. Result aspirants can easily know the result at home on the designated website and through SMS. Exam results can be seen by visiting this website: http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd/. Besides, to know the exam result through mobile SMS, write HSC with a space, write the first three letters on the board with another space, and write the roll number. After that, one more space should be entered in the year of the pass. Then send 16222 to this number.
This year’s HSC and equivalent exams started on August 17. This time, according to the rearranged syllabus, there are full marks and full-time examinations in all subjects except one. Only the information and communication technology (ICT) exam came at the last minute, and it was decided to carry 75 marks instead of 100 marks. This year, 13 lakh, 59 thousand, and 342 candidates participated in the examination under 11 education boards.
