Nagar Reporter: A 4 storied building named Khorshed Mansion of Taibiya Housing Society in Bayezid Thana of Nagar has collapsed. The building became vulnerable during the renovation of the drainage project next to the building.
The army also took a bond from the building owner to remove the building, but the building owner did not remove it on time, so the building collapsed. Today Saturday (November 25) in the evening, the fire service went to the scene and surrounded the building.
The senior station officer of Bayezid Service said that a four-storey building of Raufabad housing has collapsed. Two units of the fire service are working on the scene. No casualties were reported. Working to evacuate the residents of the building safely.
According to sources, an inspection team of the Chittagong Development Authority visited the dilapidated building and formed an investigation team.
