Dhaka Bureau: The new date for the primary assistant teacher recruitment exam has been announced. According to the new notification, the recruitment test for the first phase of the post of assistant teachers in government primary schools (Rangpur, Barisal, and Sylhet divisions) will be held on December 8. This decision was taken in an inter-ministerial meeting at the Secretariat on Tuesday (November 21). State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain, Secretary Farid Ahmed, and Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education Shah Rezwan Hayat were present in the meeting.
Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, senior information officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, confirmed this information and said that on December 8, the written test will be held in 535 centers in 18 districts of Rangpur, Barisal, and Sylhet divisions. This exam will last for one hour, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. In the first phase, 3 lakh, 60 thousand, and 697 job aspirants from three categories have applied for the examination.
It is to be noted that the written examination of the first phase was scheduled to be held on November 24. It was announced on November 8 that the exam would be held on December 1. A new date has been announced today. This is the first time that the application and recruitment examination are being conducted by the department. Notification has been published in three stages for this batch-based recruitment. The examination will also be conducted separately.
