Dhaka Bureau: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has taken measures to prevent sabotage around the blockade programs of BNP and Jamaat for three consecutive days. They will patrol all the highways in the country during the siege. BGB started it on Monday (October 30) night itself.
The public relations officer of BGB, Shariful Islam, said security has been strengthened across the country, including the capital, focusing on the blockade of BNP and Jamaat. The required number of BGB will be deployed across the country to control the law and order situation.
He said BGB will work to prevent chaos if movement or goods transportation is obstructed. Special attention has been paid to the safety of highways and railways.
Meanwhile, BGB is deployed to maintain law and order and strengthen security in the capital. BGB is patrolling in different areas, including Dhanmondi, Paltan, Gulistan, and Motijheel.
It should be noted that the three-day blockade of BNP until Thursday (October 2) is starting on Tuesday (October 31) morning. They have announced a blockade of roads, railways, and waterways across the country. Concern has been created in the public mind about this.
