Entertainment Desk: Prabhas is a popular actor of Telugu cinema known as ‘Young Rebel’. He gained special fame through the movie ‘Baahubali’. Since then Prabhas means something special. New movie ‘Salar’ starring Prabhas. The movie is slated to release on December 22.
A frenzy was created among the audience after the release of the movie. Which has become stronger with time. Last year, a fan of Prabhas even threatened to commit suicide due to the non-release of the Telugu film. The craze for the movie ‘Saalaar’ is not only among the audience but also at the box office. The movie earned a huge amount of money by selling the theatrical rights before its release.
Siyasat.com reported that Abhishek Reddy bought the seeded rights of the movie ‘Saalar’ for Rs 27 crore. North Andhra rights sold for Rs 20.40 crore. East Godavari rights were sold for Rs 13.60 crore, while Guntur and Nellore rights were sold for Rs 12 and 6.30 crore respectively.
However, the sale of West Godavari and Krishna rights has not been finalized yet. It is expected to sell for Rs 19 crore in these two regions. The total income of which stands at 163.30 crore rupees. More than 215 crores and 35 lakhs in Bangladeshi currency. Earlier two Telugu films had pre-release business of over Rs 150 crore. These two movies are – ‘Triple R’, ‘Baahubali 2’.
Shruti Haasan is teaming up with Prabhas in the action-thriller genre movie ‘Saalar’. Also starring Prithviraj, Jagpath Babu, Ishwari Rao etc. It is being directed by ‘KGF’ famous producer Prashant Neel.
