Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the judicial structure of Bangladesh has been formed by the hands of the father of the nation.
He said this at a gathering of lawyers at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Saturday, October 21.
The Prime Minister said, “He has done everything in human rights, justice, agriculture, industry, and health. Prepared the field of sea boundary extension. He also started trials of war criminals, which we have started.’
He also said, ‘I wonder how a person can do so many things in one life.’
Sheikh Hasina said, “Ziaur Rahman is not only violating the indemnity ordinance but also spoiling the electoral system—yes-no vote, presidential election, which he contested himself by breaking martial law and regulations.”
He also said, “The freedom that the father of the nation dreamed of, the freedom that we came to power with, we have realized that freedom.”
