Dhaka Bureau: The number of people affected by dengue fever is increasing in the country. Death is also increasing. 6 people have died due to dengue in the last 24 hours. A total of 199 people have died of dengue so far this year.
This information was given in the dengue report of the Department of Health on Saturday (November 12).
According to the report, 918 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospitals across the country is 3 thousand 275 people. Out of 918 people admitted to hospital due to dengue, 530 are residents of Dhaka and 388 are outside Dhaka.
The report also said that a total of 47,670 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue from January 1 to November 12 this year. Among them, 44 thousand 196 people have recovered and received discharge from the hospital.
In 2021, 28 thousand 429 people were infected with dengue fever across the country. In the same year, 105 people died of dengue nationwide.
