Sunamganj Correspondent: His brother Rabiul Hasan (19) confessed to killing a schoolgirl named Eva Begum (10) by hanging her opponent on the roof of Sunamganj. Last Saturday afternoon, in the court of Sunamganj, in the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Israt Jahan, in the Section 164 statement, he gave a gruesome description of killing his own sister by slitting her throat.
This information was confirmed by the police of Chatak police station at 9 p.m. on Saturday through a press release. According to the information of the accused, the police recovered the head of the child, Eva, last night.
He is the son of Mosahid Ali of Dakshin Kurshi village in the Dolarbazar union of the upazila. He is the main accused in the murder case of Khaled Noor. He was in jail for 11 months in this case. Recently, he came out on bail from the High Court in that case.
It is known that on the afternoon of October 4, his sister Eva went to the village shop to buy a mobile card. After that, she disappeared. That day, at around 7:30 p.m., the headless body was found in the paddy field of Ataur Rahman of the village. The next day, after recovering the body, the police handed it over to his relatives and buried it.
Meanwhile, Rabiul Hasan, the elder brother of the schoolgirl, was called to the police station for questioning. After a long interrogation, he admitted the responsibility of killing his own younger sister to frame his opponent. Police recovered the head from Ataur Rahman’s paddy field near Dakshin Kurshi village about 48 hours after the headless body was recovered from the paddy field.
After he was sent to the Sunamganj court last Saturday afternoon, in the section 164 deposition, he gave a chilling description of how he cut his younger sister’s throat and left her body and head in the paddy field to frame the plaintiff in the Khaled Noor murder case.
It should be noted that Khaled Noor of North Kurshi village was killed on October 4, 2022. Rabiul Hasan was made the main accused in the murder case.
