A reserved leave has been taken from the Upazila Primary Education Office to close the school on the occasion of the game.
He also participated in the development fair organized by the Upazila administration. Arriving home in the afternoon after work, a neighbor’s quarrel started with his son over a dispute regarding family space. When he went to the spot to stop the fight, he suddenly fell down on the ground and became unconscious. Later, he was rescued from there and taken to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. The deceased is Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury (57). He is the head teacher of Dharmapur Muhuripara Government Primary School in Dharmapur Union of Satkania Upazila. This incident happened last Sunday in his home in the Dharmapur Muhuri Para area. He is the son of the late Master Siddique Ahmed Chowdhury.
Talking to the police and locals, it is known that on the afternoon of the incident, the deceased head teacher Zahoor Ahmed’s son Tofail Ahmed had a fight on the street in front of his house over a long-standing land dispute with the neighbor of his house. When he heard the matter and went out of the house to stop the quarrel, suddenly he (Zahur) fell to the ground. In this regard, Tofail Ahmed, son of Zahoor, a teacher working in the Upazila Health Complex, said, “Before I entered the house after office, Nasir Uddin’s son, Md. Simon, son of Farid Uddin, Son of Faisal and Zahid Hossain. Tashib argued with me as part of the previous dispute. At one point, they started beating me severely. Later, Simon’s uncle Belal and Abdul Mannan rushed towards me.
Tashib and Faisal tried to beat me with iron rods. On hearing the news, when my father went to stop the quarrel, they also beat him with the bottom of a tree. At one point, the father fell to the ground and became unconscious. Later, when he was taken to the Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared the father dead. Tofail also said that we are two brothers and three sisters. My younger sister’s wedding on September 30 has been rumored. Many markets have also been traded for this. Dad underwent open heart surgery three years ago. Since the incident, the accused have been absconding, and their statements were not available.
Satkania Upazila Primary Education Officer Golam Mahbub said Bangmata has also taken a day’s reserved leave from me to participate in the district level of the football tournament. Apart from this, the daughter’s marriage letter is also being distributed throughout the day. Participated in the development fair. Now he can’t get his daughter married, and he can’t win his favorite students in football. Such a death is very heartbreaking and painful.
Nashir Uddin Tipu, Chairman of the local Dharmapur Union (UP) Parishad, said that the quarrel started due to an earlier dispute regarding family land. However, it is not clear how the teacher died. The officer-in-charge (OC) of Satkania police station, Md. Yasir Arafat, said that after the autopsy, the body has been handed over to the family.
If any complaint is received from the family of the deceased teacher, action will be taken, subject to investigation. In response to a question, the OC said that it is not possible to say how the death happened before the post-mortem report is received. However, the Surathal report found no injury marks on the dead teacher’s body.
