And India did not invite anyone except Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to this conference. Besides, currently the Russian Foreign Minister is on a visit to Bangladesh. The President of France will visit Bangladesh on September 10. These visits proved that Bangladesh’s relations with the outside world, including India, are at a new height.
Yesterday Friday (September 08), the Information and Broadcasting Minister said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the orientation of the students of the college for the academic year 2022-23 and the annual sports and literary culture award ceremony at Nagar Ma Shishu and General Hospital and Medical College campus.
He said, a few days ago we held a security dialogue with the United States. That dialogue has proven our multidimensional cooperative relationship with the United States.
The Information Minister said that BNP leaders once spread false propaganda about corona vaccination. Later they either went in the dark of night or openly and got vaccinated. Now they are spreading false propaganda about dengue. They are blaming Awami League for dengue. But Awami League BNP does not recognize dengue mosquito, it bites everyone. So far, all those who have been affected by dengue have been affected regardless of the party.
He said, dengue bites and BNP burns. It appears that dengue is deadly, but BNP is even more deadly. So be careful of these two.
Dr. Hasan Mahmud said that despite hundreds of misinformation, the government has been successful in dealing with Corona. We have become the world’s role model in all areas of warning and vaccination. So we will be successful in dealing with dengue. This requires collective efforts and public awareness. The government is making all-out efforts to fight dengue along with the people.
He said, our doctors are not less talented than doctors in Europe, America or India. The skills of our doctors are also good. But still many patients go abroad for treatment. They blamed the doctors’ inattention and not listening well to the patient. This trend should be avoided. Adequate time should be given to patients. Service mentality should be increased. Adequate nursing facilities should be provided. Only then will the trend of going abroad for treatment stop.
Congratulating them on providing various medical services in this hospital, the minister said, this hospital has set a unique precedent in the country in providing services and has gained people’s trust. Apart from private hospitals, these hospitals are currently competing with government hospitals in providing services. This mentality should be continued. Besides, nursing activities should be strengthened.
