The minister said these things at the inauguration and discussion ceremony of the new building of PNP Shaheed Farooq Iqbal High School at Daniya in the capital on Sunday morning (September 03).
He said that during the period of BNP, every year during the month of Ashwin-Kartika, many people in Mangapridi area of North Bengal had to go without food, many people died without food. And today, thanks to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s agriculture-friendly policies, the people of those afflicted areas also get to eat three meals a day, not a single person in the country goes without food.
Regarding BNP-Jamaat agitation, the minister said that BNP-Jamaat is agitating and conspiring. Wants to repeat strikes, blockades and burning people alive. But BNP-Jamaat will not be allowed to do that again. The law enforcement forces of the country are now more organized and capable than before. BNP-Jamaat will not be allowed to go on strike and burn a single person in this country.
Agriculture Minister and Awami League presidium member said that the people of the country are not with BNP. People will never bring BNP to power.
