Satkania Correspondent: A free medical camp and free medicine distribution program were held today, Wednesday, on the initiative of Health Care Hospital for the benefit of the affected, helpless, and distressed people in Satkania, Chittagong.
This treatment program was ongoing from morning to evening. According to hospital sources, medical services are provided for surgery, skin diseases, arthritis, children, medicine, gynecology, and nose, ear, and throat patients for the convenience of the poor.
Eight doctors conduct treatment in it. Nurunnahar Begum, a resident of Kaliaish Union, expressed her satisfaction when she came to take free medical services and said, “My 8-year-old son got skin disease in the flood water.” After hearing about free treatment, I came to a health care hospital and got free medicine as well as free treatment.
Patients from various unions, including Kenochia, Chadaha, and Bajalia, expressed their satisfaction when they came for treatment. In this regard, the managing director of the hospital, Dr. Bidhan Dhar, said that since the establishment of this hospital, it has always been providing medical services to the helpless and distressed; this is the commitment of the hospital authorities.
This time too, we have taken this initiative to think about the victims of the terrible floods during the memorial period. He also said that at least 1,000 patients suffering from various diseases have been given free treatment and free medicines. Besides, a 50% discount is given for various exams. We will continue this trend in the future.
