Sukanth Bikash Dhar, Satkania: ‘National Public Service Day 2023 was celebrated on Sunday morning with the theme “Good governance first, innovation in public service”. A rally and discussion meeting were held under the initiative of the Satkania upazila administration.
Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Milton Biswas presided over the discussion meeting held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium. Upazila ICT Officer Anwar Hossain spoke at the event, among others: Upazila Parishad Panel Chairman Anjuman Ara, Vice Chairman Salah Uddin Hasan Chowdhury, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Arafat Siddiqui, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Moniruzzman, Upazila Fisheries Officer Saikat Sharma, Upazila Engineer Parvez Sarwar Hossain, and Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Mohammad Kamrul Hosssain.
At that time, Birmuktijoddha, officials of various departments of the upazila, journalists, the chairman of various unions, and Sudheejan were present. At one stage of the program, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer came down from the stage and honored the freedom fighters of the nation. Earlier, a rally led by UNO circled the important roads of the Upazila Parishad.
