Dhaka Bureau: Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that even if someone from the party is involved in the beating of Hero Alam, action will be taken against him.
The Prime Minister said this after discussing the incident of beating Hero Alam in a meeting lasting more than four hours from 7 pm to 11:30 pm on Wednesday evening (July 19).
Gana Azadi League president SK Shikder said, “The issue of beating (Hero Alam) was discussed in the meeting on July 17 before the end of the by-election of Dhaka-17 constituencies.” All those present in the meeting said action should be taken against those involved. The Prime Minister said that action will be taken even if someone from the party is involved.
